Meet Preston
Preston is a Mechanical Engineer with 13 years of experience.
He started his career with eight years of field hands-on experience commissioning and operating large industrial centrifugal compressors. Within these roles was troubleshooting and testing PLC systems for proper operation, and working with controls engineering to validate programming. This has developed into being a manufacturing engineer of the test department for OEM coming up with new PLC system’s to increase to a more automated operation, data collection centers, and operator safety. He has also spent much of his free time working at local ski area and understanding lift and pump operations.
His other interests include skiing, farming, hunting, and anything outdoors with a motor on it.
Meet Jake
Jake is a Civil Engineer with 15 years of experience.
He started working at Royal Mountain ski area at the age of 14 and continued to work there through his college education. He later worked as a design engineer and project manager for engineering firms based out of the Ny Capital Region. He has experience in various projects that includes highway, dam safety, and stormwater design along with construction engineering. His experience in preparing engineers reports, preparing detailed design plans, specifications and construction cost estimates. In 2020 Jake and his wife purchased and became owner/operators of Royal Mountain Ski Area located in Caroga Lake, Ny.
His other interests include snowboarding, 4 wheeling, truck pulling, snowmobiling, boating, hunting, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Meet John
John Rourke is a Control System Engineer based in New York with 30+ years in this field.
He has worked in various industries such as power generation, pulp & paper, building automation and for an original equipment manufacturer “OEM”. His primary roles are programming the various controllers and automation equipment used in these industries. His recent role with an OEM has provided an opportunity to develop process specific algorithms and software tools to assist in control system programming.
His other interests include; Electronics, IOT connectivity, carpentry and most outdoor activities.
